A variety of opportunities to help grow the organic movement while gaining valuable experience in the following departments:
- ACCOUNTING – Help our ship run smoothly by assisting the accounting department with grant proposals, accounts payable and receivable, state registrations, and more.
- COMMUNICATIONS – Depending on your interests and skills, you’ll work on social media, email marketing, blog posts, photography & video, graphic design, events, media relations, and more.
- DEVELOPMENT – Learn the ins and outs of fundraising and donor relations by assisting our development staff with events, campaigns, and donor acquisition efforts.
- DIVERSIFIED VEGETABLE FARMING – Help support the farm-wide production of vegetables in several program settings ranging from work in research plots to our commercial 5-acre farm share field.
- FARM SHARE (ASC) – Gain hands-on training in the skills necessary to run a farm share-style business with the goal of reaching a broader population including low-income families with limited access to fresh organic food.
- GARDEN & LANDSCAPE – Assist in maintaining a wide variety of vegetables, flowers, medicinal herbs, shrubs, and trees while learning and practicing the fundamentals of organic plant cultivation.
- MULTIMEDIA – This internship is ideal for candidates with previous experience and a strong interest in producing video, photography, webinars, and social media content.
- ORGANIC FARMERS ASSOCIATION – Gain hands-on experience in policy outreach, membership development, communications, sponsorship development and more.
- RESEARCH – Work side-by-side with our research staff in the lab and in the field investigating systems approaches to soil, crop, animal, human, and environmental health.
- ST. LUKE’S RODALE INSTITUTE ORGANIC FARM – Assist at our partner farm and learn how to grow safe, healthy, organic produce that gets delivered to all seven hospitals in the St. Luke’s University Health Network.
